The redesign hasn't happened quickly, with Spotify explaining (Opens in a new window), "It took months of tests and research, talking to users, and gathering feedback" before the finished product was launched this week. Spotify is introducing a new design today, and with it offering a "cohesive look and feel" across both its desktop app and web player.
